Front End Engineers

At Visual Revenue, we collect, analyze, and visualize tons of data – think billions of pings a month. We feed this data into our ever-hungry predictive analytics engine, which (with a little help from some super clever algorithms) then provides online publishers suggestions on how to best promote their content on their website. As our newest frontend engineer, you'll help us constantly improve, tweak and develop our dashboard, API and automated modules – there is loads of room for scope here, so bring it ON! You'll get to work with the team to figure out big ticket items ranging from mobile apps, responsive design, 3rd party javascript and tonnes of other awesome frontend stuff.

What you bring:

  • Passion for building anything frontend
  • Awesome at JS/HTML/CSS and writing legible code
  • Ability to find the right tool for the job. Quickly evaluate different libraries but not afraid to roll your own stuff
  • Extra points: Experience with CSS transitions, JQuery, Google Closure toolkit, Java, Python, and Selenium
  • Bonus: eye for design, experience in Agile development

Back End Engineers

At Visual Revenue, we collect, analyze, and visualize tons of data – think billions of pings a month. We feed this data into our ever-hungry predictive analytics engine, which (with a little help from some super clever algorithms) then provides online publishers suggestions on how to best promote their content on their website.

As our newest backend engineer, you'll help us scale (like crazy!), extend, and evolve our infrastructure. We use awesome libraries/tools that span the entire development spectrum– nginx, varnish, gevent, scipy, storm, kafka, fabric, and a number of our own proprietary technologies too! Everything runs on Amazon AWS– a superbly flexible playground. This is a full_time++ position with entrepreneurial benefits (health insurance, office gym, unmatched learnings, rooftop basketball court, ergonomic work environment, dual screen setup – and EQUITY).

What you bring:

  • Hardcore programming skills
  • Architectural and data modeling
  • Experience with building big data systems

Devops Engineer

At Visual Revenue, we collect, analyze, and visualize tons of data. We feed this data to our ever-hungry predictive analytics engine that helps media companies decide the best way to promote their content and take action. As our newest devops engineer, you'll help us scale, extend, and evolve our infrastructure. You’ll help us fine tune our deployment, automate as much as possible and monitor/plot as many relevant metrics as you can find. We love our libraries/tools and are constantly looking for more. Some examples include salt, scribe, munin, nagios, storm, kafka, fabric, and some of our own custom tools as well. All of our stuff is on Amazon AWS – a superbly flexible playground. Product Manager

At Visual Revenue, we collect, analyze, and visualize tons of data. We feed this data to our ever-hungry predictive analytics engine that helps media companies decide the best way to promote their content and take action. We are looking for a seasoned product thinker who knows how to take an idea and turn it into something real. You possess the awesome ability to be both creative and technical. You represent the voice of the customer and ensure that their desires are reflected in our product. You are a strong communicator and will be expected to work closely with the engineering to build our products as well as educate and train VR’s Sales and Account Management team on how to communicate the value to our customers. What you'll bring:

  • A strong product background, with an instinct for synthesizing product ideas from different sources and distilling them into something special
  • Demonstrated ability to grasp current/future needs of VR customers and position VR to deliver on them
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate and evangelize VR’s products and business both internally and externally
  • A team player with a contagious “whatever it takes” personality
  • Constructively challenge the conventional wisdom or accepted way of doing things, always looking for ways to innovate

Stuff you'll do:

  • Own and manage all aspects of the product lifecycle and user experience for a given product
  • Identify market opportunities and work with the founders to define VR’s product vision and strategy
  • Specify requirements for current and future products at a functional and technical level
  • Analyze and present hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and feature concepts
  • Develop mockup interaction designs, including user interaction models, wire frames, screen flows, and dialog copy
  • Develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape through analysis and user research

Sales Manager

Visual Revenue provides the most sophisticated and powerful value-driven programming tool for publishers in the world today. We have hundreds of publishers under management and the largest customer base of any content programming tool vendor.

We are looking for an organized and passionate Sales Manager who can take advantage of our unique positioning and knows how to navigate the entire sales cycle. This means you’ll be responsible for finding and engaging new leads, conducting presentations, managing leads, and closing deals, while working closely with senior management.

We’ve built a very strong top of the funnel and you’ll be taking this on – enabling you to hit the ground running with a ton of backup! Prior relationships in the Digital Publishing world (both State side and Internationally) are a big plus. An ideal candidate will have been doing enterprise CMS sales, Enterprise Analytics sales or similar sales in a quota driven environment.

Minimum requirements:

  • Excellent initiative, positive attitude, and fast learner
  • Able to work in a fast changing, competitive environment, with attention to detail and professionalism
  • Strong sales background in similar product field (CMS, Enterprise Analytics, etc.), Digital Media or Publishing
  • At least one year of sales team management experience
  • Excellent communication and client and time management skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Experience managing over 400 leads/ accounts

Sales Associate

Visual Revenue provides the most sophisticated and powerful value-driven programming tool for publishers in the world today.

We are looking for a hardworking, organized Sales Associate who wants to take their selling abilities to the next level while working with some of the biggest names in media. You will be responsible for finding and engaging new leads, data entry, creating email templates, completing data analysis, attending presentations with sales directors and managers, and learning the sales processes.

We’ve built a very strong top of the funnel and it will be your job to make this even stronger. As leader of the pre-sales process, your objective is to identify, contact qualify sales leads and schedule presentations for the rest of the Sales team. Experience working within a sales team environment and directly working the “top of the funnel” with potential customers is required. A working knowledge of digital media, publishing, and social media are preferred. An ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and be willing to work their way to the top.
